Introduction
In the introduction, I introduced Takealot as an online retailer in South Africa that sells a wide
variety of products. I also mentioned that the company has been growing rapidly in recent
years and is now the largest online retailer in South Africa. I then stated that I am a logistics
manager and that I am interested in Takealot's value chain and supply chain. I want to
understand how the company creates and delivers value to its customers, and I want to
identify areas where the company can improve its logistics operations.
