The school is in the suburbs of West Kendall in Miami, a community predominantly of Hispanic origin. The school services about 1,000 students in grades sixth through twelfth with the following demographic breakdown: 95% Hispanic, 3% White, 1% Black, and 1% Asian. The school community is 55% Economically Disadvantaged, 6.5% English Language Learners, and 5.1% are Students with Disabilities. The demographic composition of the classroom mirrors that of the school. The school is a "Bring Your Own Device" school. However, there are computer labs that are used as classrooms where each student haaccess to a device. There are also laptop carts that can be borrowed by classrooms that do not have enough devices for every student. The school staff is comprised of 39 licensed teachers and 11 support staff members that educate and support the students.
