⁃ In this presenation, I am going to talk about who they are, how they
got in America, where they live now, their celebrations, their clothing, their
housing and their marriage and gender roles. At last I am going to talk about the
tribe called Navjao and discrimination against Native Americans.
Who are they?
⁃ The Native Americans are the original population of the United States.
There are 574 tribes living in the US. Most of us call the Native Americans,
Indians. The word Indian came to be used because Columbus repeatedly expressed the
mistaken belief that he had reached South Asia instead of America.
