to select a method for a specific teaching situation. Various factors mean that a variety of
methods – and even more than one in the same lesson situation – should be used in teaching
Business Studies. These factors include the teacher’s personality and talents, and the learners’
abilities, level of knowledge and level of experience, as well as the distinctive nature of the
subject, class size and facilities and the purpose of the lesson in question.
