own definition of leadership and management. In chapter 3, the e story of Mo Ibrahim is used to
demonstrate how leadership skills can be used in the most difficult of circumstances by
understanding local conditions and using these to bring about change. In this chapter I gained
understanding the nature of sub-Saharan African geography history and demography.
