National Minimum Wage and Living Wage:
NOTE: If the contract stipulates that ‘x’ will be paid the national living wage and there are
three employees aged between 16-30, those that are 16 will not be entitled to the National
Living Wage and will have to be paid the National Minimum Wage.
NOTE: A contract can be more generous than the minimum statutory requirement – but not less
– if less, the statutory requirement will apply
