Format of the summative assessment
This is a formal sit-down examination.
Compilation of the Examination Paper
The question paper consists of Questions 1-8 and is a two-hour paper with a
total of 100 marks.
All questions must be answered on the answer book that will be provided to
you during examination.
Question 1:
This question requires you to choose the correct answer from the list of possible
answers provided (i.e. Multiple-Choice Questions).
Question 2 to 8:
Consist of mixture of questions i.e. discuss, define, name, list, give, write down,
write explanatory notes, distinguish, describe, explain, and differentiate.
NB: NO drawing will be required of you to explain certain biological concepts.

Students are advised to first check the mark allocated for each question, this make
