, Scenario: In this unit learners will react to a community issue and create a tender to
provide suitable solutions. In addition, a selection of resources the learners may
require is also provided. Walking to the nearest bridge, swimming across the river,
and using the boats at the jetty. Two existing products could include: Building a
bridge, buying boats, providing a bus service to the city.
1. DESIGN : In this part of the Mini- Pat, the learners will use their research to
decide
on two possible solutions to the problem. Allow them to be
creative.The
learners must think of as many possible solutions as they can,
and then
decide on the two best possible solutions. They will then do
rough
sketches of their two final choices. The learners will form groups
and
decide which of all their ideas is the best and the one they will
work with
for the rest of the task.
