Assignment

, Question 1
1.1 Lesson planning is how I must design a lesson so that it met the leaners’
needs and also covers the learning outcomes. To do this I must choose and
create instructional materials so that learners on different levels can
understand the lesson. This will help me to manage the time to cover the
contents but also give learners the space and time to understand it. A lesson
plan will serve as a guide for what the learners need to learn, how I will teach
it and how learning will be measured.
1.2 A lesson outcome is the clear and precise statements that indicate what a
student should know and be able to do at the end of a lesson. This describes
what the learner should know, understand or be able to demonstrate after
completion of a process of learning.
Example: By the end of the lesson all learners should understand that
electric charge moves in a circuit and transports energy from an
input source to an output device.
A lesson objective is how the topics and the individual learning activities are
organised to achieve the learning outcomes. It is a specific statement of
teaching intention, in other words, what the teacher intends to cover.
Example: Show and explain what simple circuits are.
What are the components of an electric circuit.
How to make an electric circuit (practical)
Draw an electric circuit
