• All plants, animals and micro-organisms live within the biosphere.
• Plants use sunlight for the process of photosynthesis.
• During photosynthesis, light energy is converted into chemical energy.
• Animals depend on plants for their energy.
What the biosphere is made of
• The lithosphere (soil and rocks).
• The hydrosphere (water).
• The atmosphere (gases).
There are many different kinds of living things
• Plants and animals live in specific environments.
