• Frederick Herzberg born (1923 – 2000) was a psychologist
who developed a two factor theory of job satisfaction and
dissatisfaction. He suggested factors that had the potentia
give job factors which was motivators and factors that can
reduce job satisfaction which was hygiene or maintenance
factors. He believed that pay is not the only motivator. He
came up with the idea of hygiene factor. This factor should
met first so motivators can work really hard. One of Herzbe
main policies is job enrichment. This is a way to motivate it
workers by giving them an opportunity to use their abilities
by giving them more independence and more control of wh
they do.
