QUESTION 1: ABRIDGED REPORT [25]

citizens home and frail care centre. You have identified the following findings:

2.1 Although most of the residents are confined to their rooms – or even to their beds

2.2 Although most of the residents were born in the 1920s or 1930s, nurses and
nurse aids tune the radio in the communal lounge area to a station of their choice –
pop, gospel or soul.
2.3 Nurses and nurse aids shout at residents and address them in simplistic “baby”
language, or not at all.
INSTRUCTIONS:

ABRIDGED REPORT ON COMMUNICATION PROBLEMS AT A SENIOR
CITIZENS HOME AND FRAIL CARE CENTRE

Introduction:
The effective communication between staff members and residents is a critical
aspect of the quality of care provided in senior citizens homes and frail care centres.
Communication not only enables residents to express their needs and concerns but
also contributes to their social and emotional well-being. Unfortunately,
communication breakdowns are not uncommon in care facilities, which can lead to
residents feeling isolated, frustrated, and helpless. This report aims to identify
communication problems in a senior citizens home and frail care centre. The findings
of the investigation provide insight into the communication practices within the facility
and highlight areas where improvements can be made to enhance the quality of life
for the residents.

This pack is not set well you cannot search on this and the answers are bit confusing because they just put numbers after the whole paper is done.

Students Portal for all your study needs

I started studying a long time ago with long-distance learning, found it to be very hard, time-consuming and I was in desperate need of guidance and help. It was not that I was lazy, wanted a quick solution but my time was so scarce. I decided there was a need for notes, memo packs and so I started my journey. I have been doing this for years, I have sold to many of the online tutor sites which I have noticed sell my packs on here now too. I hope my work and research will help you.
