FACTS OF THE CASE
This matter involves the applicant, Mmatlou Maria Moloantoa and the first, second and
third respondents (CCMA, Manganyi and Eskom Soc Ltd). In this case the applicant
was charged and found guilty of fraud relating to claiming and receiving reimbursement
for travel costs in a fraudulent and dishonest manner, thereby, constitution a
misconduct. It was alleged that the applicant claimed and received a travel cost at the
amount of R2584,80 while she travelled with a colleague from Lephalale to Midrant and
back as a passanger, in order words, she made this claim when she did not operate any
vehicle.
