Personality is the distinctive and characteristic patterns of tho
emotion, and behavior that make up an individual’s personal st
interacting with the physical and social environment.
Personality refers to individual differences in characteristic patte
thinking, feeling and behaving. The study of personality focus
two broad areas:
❑ One is understanding individual differences in particular pers
characteristics, such as sociability or irritability.
❑ The other is understanding how the various parts of a person
together as a whole.
