AIM
This module has been designed to study the classification,
general characteristics, reproduction and economic
importance of the main divisions of the fungi. After completing
this module, the learner should have gained knowledge on
the life cycles of the different types of fungi, their role in the
environment, their effects on plants and human health.
During practical students will study life material and prepared
microscopic slides to broaden their knowledge on the general
characteristics and reproductive structures of the fungi.
