How greatly our modern lives are simplified by technology:
From the moment we open our eyes in the morning untill (until) the moment
we go to bed at night, our modern lives are simplified by technology. We are
awoken by our alarms, often set using a cell phone and we commute to work
using modern vehicles and roads. (All aspects of our lives have become
computerised in some way and we need not look far in order to see the impact
thereof on our everyday way of living.)
Banking and all other financial transactions are simplified in such a way (a
manner) that we only need to swipe a card in order to purchase goods-
eliminating the need to carry cash. We are instantly notified of any changes to
our bank accounts via SMS or email which prevents theft and fraud. Sallaries
(salaries) need not be paid in cash (are paid directly into our bank accounts)
which prevents crimes like muggings and ensuring (ensures) that all
employees receive their due payment.
When applying for loans or when buying a home, the entire process has been
streamlined in such a way that it may only take (a few) days for these
transactions to take place (be finalised). When comparing this to the time it
used to take in days gone by (in the past), it is obvious that our lives have been
drastically simplified (by technology).
