INTRODUCTION

, Organisational communication is critical to the success of the business whether it be internal
communication amongst staff or externally to the organisation’s customers.
Communication should be guiding performance within the organisation, primarily starting from the
board of directors, executive managers and senior managers and their teams. Objectives and goals
from the top down were clear and decisive.
Communication methods should have structure and should be consistent in nature. Will consistent in
nature at xxxxxx, also provided a lot of preferred communication methods send internally, face to
face discussions, skype calls, instant messages, email and through formal meetings.
Through observations at xxxxxx it was interesting to see how information, views and ideas were
shared internally through the different departments and freedom at which this was done due to a huge
focus on collaboration of the employees; inter-departmentally or from department to department. This
humanistic approach to management again provided a lot of freedom to the individual to excel and put
the trust in the individual to perform.
