My personal opinion on this statement is most closely described by:
a.
Tax is basically government stealing from people so good for Bezos.
b.
I'm sure he didn't break the law.
c.
What? Wasn’t he the richest man in the world in 2011?

What about other billionaires I wonder?

This is just gross injustice and we need to do something about it.

ultra-wealthy individuals) highlighted very low or zero federal income tax in certain years
due to legal mechanisms: unrealised capital gains are not taxed as income, deductions,
carry-forwards, and the structure of wealth (stock holdings rather than high taxable
salaries). The reporting did not demonstrate criminal tax evasion. One can debate
whether the tax code should be changed, but the statement as given does not establish
