During the current year, Take-a-Hike expanded its business model by facilitating guided hiking experiences in South Africa. These hiking experiences are arranged for groups of up to 10 clients and are led by approved hiking guides. As part of your role in the Finance Department, you will contribute to: • analysing financial and operational data to support management decision-making; • evaluating whether business operations meet the company’s target profit margin; • identifying routes, guides, retail shops and optional services that influence performance; • preparing dashboards to communicate key insights to management; and • supporting the company’s ongoing efforts to improve efficiency, profitability and internal controls.
