on.
Structure of first conditional sentence written on board:
IF + SUBJECT + PRESENT SIMPLE, SUBJECT + auxiliary will + infinitive (future simple)
Examples to be written on the board:
If you keep eating pizza, you will be unhealthy.
If we don’t hurry, we will miss the bus.
Refer to the examples written above on the board and write:
IF clause: If you keep eating pizza _________
Result clause: ________you will be unhealthy.
Linked together: If you keep eating pizza, you will be unhealthy.
Change the placement of the “if” in both sentences and write it on the board:
You will be unhealthy if you keep eating pizza.
