Incorporate at least three of the following five key reading comprehension strategies: o Predicting: encourage learners to make predictions based on the book cover, title or illustrations before and during reading. o Questioning: ask open-ended questions during and after reading to check understanding and stimulate thinking. o Clarifying: help learners understand difficult words or concepts by explaining or using visual cues. o Summarising: guide learners to retell the main ideas or events of the story in their own words. o Visualising: encourage learners to describe or draw what they imagine as they read or listen to the story. 4.
