post-apartheid era in South Africa has witnessed deliberate efforts to restore,
rejuvenate, and reimagine traditional values that were eroded during colonial and
apartheid periods (EDS3701, Unit 4.4). The concept of indigenous knowledge is defined
and its importance in the school curriculum is explained, with relevant examples
