What is COR?

COR Contract
Understand the requirements of the contract, Ensure that all required items,
documentation, data, and/or reports are submitted as required in the contract,
Follow the PWS/SOW for delivery/task orders placed under the contract

, Provide technical advice/recommendations/clarification on the PWS/SOW
Request contract changes through the KO when needed, Provide a PWS/SOW and
Independent Government Estimate (IGE) for any changes at the request of the KO,
Evaluate proposals for and participate in negotiations of changes, modifications,
and claims at the request of the KO, Provide written notification to the KO when
the contractual requirements have been fulfilled and technically accepted




COR Contractor
Monitor and document contractor performance in accordance with the
requirements, terms, and conditions of the contract and agreed schedule
Maintain an arms-length relationship with the contractor in the interest of
procurement integrity as well as sound contract management, Inform the contractor
of failures to comply with the technical requirements of the contract., Prepare any
required reports on contractor performance, Validate that contractor personnel
have required licenses, certifications, and security clearances as required by the
contract, Verify timeliness and accuracy of contractor reports and data required to
be delivered to the government, Maintain direct communications and act as a
liaison between activity and contractor (in concert with KO), Try to resolve issues
that may arise and ensure any dispute between the COR and contractor is referred
to the KO




COR Acceptance
To ensure that contract requirements are met, the COR has the responsibility to:
Inspect supplies and services performed to determine acceptability and reject those
that do not meet the contract requirements and standards for quality assurance,
Assure contractor/vendor is paid for acceptable performance and not paid for
unacceptable performance (supplies or services)
