Team,
As you are all aware, we have the exciting challenge ahead of championing a new product:
Kamelon. To maximize sales and create a successful launch for this product, I’d like to provide you
with a discussion on the advantages and disadvantages of Kamelon. Together, I know that we will
overcome any challenges necessary to find success in getting Kamelon into the hands of our loyal
customers.
Based on a recent limited research study, we know that Kamelon works! 90% of the 100
participants in the study reported losing at least 15 pounds or more. The biggest advantage of
selling this product is that you can feel good doing it, knowing that you are selling a product that will
help people. Another great advantage to this product is that it will be a new and exciting edition to
our existing weight loss product line. A new addition to this already successful line will have the
potential to attract new and loyal customers alike. I can’t wait to see how you’ll encourage our
customers to give Kamelon a try.
The challenges we may face with Kamelon will be nothing we haven’t see before with our other
weight loss products. A disadvantage of these types of products is that the user experience can
vary so widely based on how strictly the customer is adhering to the instructions and
recommendations for the use of the product. Another disadvantage is that this may result in a
perceived poor customer experience and negative reviews for our brand.
I would like everyone, sales and marketing especially, to focus on representing this product as a
supplement to support an already healthy lifestyle for our customers. To mitigate as many of the
negative reviews as we possibly can, please make sure to emphasize to your customers that
Kamelon does work, but it doesn’t work alone. Our marketing team will also help mitigate these
disadvantages through careful wording and emphasis of the product use instructions. This will help
our customers achieve the most success using Kamelon.
