From the time now to starting the school year, what are your plans? -
🧠ANSWER ✔✔I have 4 things pre-planned in mind:
-MONEY: I will continue my ambassador job and help open as much scribe
programs as possible
-STUDY: study to take re-MCAT in January (no rush/work this time)
-RESEARCH: start research in March on recovery post graft surgery with
an ortho doctor I scribed for
-VOLUNTEER: continue my MF club
,*also considering a trip back to China, village has constructional projects
that need funding raising and assistance (get the chance to help convince
them to renovate the well and put in a filter system)
*they need a network/PC in the village hub house for kids to learn
If you were accepted into an allopathic school and not osteopathic would
you go and why? - 🧠ANSWER ✔✔-Not necessarily.
-I look for a school that meets my goals 1.) make me a successful doctor
2.) close to home
3.) if there was a school closer and more cost effective I would go, however
I see ME as the perfect match
*in summary, it just want to become a good doctor, don't matter DO/MD. I
know I can be holistic with either a DO or MD degree.
"Why medicine? Why physician? - 🧠ANSWER ✔✔-inspired by care of my
granny who cared for me. She passed due to liver disease, and it pained
me dearly. I promise her that I would carry on her altruisic spirit and help
those who are suffering from chronic diseases.
,-also her death has instilled 3 fears in me. 1.) I fear not being able to do
anything for an illness as they pass. Fear that I couldn't catch early signs of
illness. Fear that I couldn't help prevent people from chronic illness. I fear
not being able to understand, or help people in medical need.
"Looking at the healthcare compared to China, what is one thing that you
think could be brought back to the US? - 🧠ANSWER ✔✔-not lived long
enough in China to know the national healthcare system. Each region is
segregated in terms of political system, culture, and language.
-one providence is completely different that it might as well be a different
sub-country.
-the village I lived definitely needs healthcare system to start
"If you were to pursue a different profession what would you do?" -
🧠ANSWER ✔✔-I do not plan to pursue a different profession. I've made a
promise, been striving for 18years now, and I plan to keep it as I have been
doing.

What was the last meaningful book you read, and why was it meaningful to
you? - 🧠ANSWER ✔✔-Last one I read, was also one I wrote. Would you
like to heard about it?
-It's a Chinese internet novel "一代明师 or Generation of Jia Ning" written
initially for my sisters who at the time 6-7yr and are nothing sort of being
bratz. I hoped that this novel would inspire them to become virtuous and
wise leaders.
-the 4 main characters are actually modelled and named after me and my
friends: main character Jia Ning modelled after me, and 2 of her name's
characters are taken from my name. Mine is Jia Li (to bring prosperity),
hers Jia Ning (to bring peace).
