Then one must connect tunneled VPN traffic with non-tunneled traffic using pfSense. As mentioned, the first step of this lab is to create a secure tunnel to an IPsec server through pfSense. It is important to create a secure tunnel to ensure no one can intercept communication within a VPN. Another important step in this lab was the certification step. This is important because without certification you will not be able to authenticate with the server.
