Her occupation is as a State Farm insurance agent. ML presents to the hospital an injured ankle due to jogging on the treadmill. Client states that as she was jogging on the treadmill, she increased the incline and speed of the treadmill to maximum potential. Then she grew tired and tried to slow down the pace. Client lost her balance and slipped on the treadmill, landing to the floor. Moving her whole left foot slightly worsens the pain. Patient states, “The quality of the pain is 7. It feels like something sharp is stabbing through my ankle and heel.” The region of the pain is from the ankle, radiating down to the heel. The severity of the pain is excruciating to the point where she cannot walk. Therefore, she must limp with the aid of another individual. The collaborative resources that the patient will use include her husband. He will be expected to help her make her way around the house with the use of the crutches. Also, he will help her to remember to take her medication with her morning meals and make sure she does not take it with herbal teas. ML will now have to depend on her husband to get her where she needs to go, due to the fact that she cannot drive for at least 2 weeks. Health Background Client denies any medical concerns.
