In the attached document you will find a book report on 'The Dogs' written by Allan Stratton. The report includes a summary (plot), the setting, the theme, information about the main character, an identification with the main character and a personal opinion. In this report you will also find a mini report of the short story 'The Happy Prince' written by Oscar Wilde. The answers to the questions asked are a small summary of the story. DISCLAIMER: My English was not flawless in the fourth grade. It may be that there are some errors in grammar, spelling etc. So read the report again carefully before you submit it. However, in terms of content, the report is entirely correct!

The Plot. Tell in a few sentences what happens in the story and how it ends.

The story is about a boy, who is named Cameron Weaver. He and his mother are on
the run for his father, because his mother claims that his father is a psychopath who
wants to kill them. Every time his mother got a feeling that Cameron’s father is near
their living place they move to a different city. In the beginning of the book they,
again, move to a different place. This time it is a place where his mother is pretty sure
her husband won’t find them. It is a small village named Wolf Hallow. They got
introduced by a man, who Cameron calls Cowboy Boots. His real name is Ken. The
house where Cameron is supposed to live is an old farmhouse, which owners died a
couple years ago. In the house, Cameron finds some strange drawings and toys
from a kid who used to live there. The kid’s name is Jacky Mc Travisch. When he
looks out his window, he feels like he is being watched from the barn of his
farmhouse. At school, Cameron doesn’t get on very well. His only ‘friend’ is Benjie, a
boy who smells really bad and who is bullied by Cody and his gang. Because Benjie
is being nice to Cameron, Cody and his gang also start to bully Cameron. At school
Cameron hears weird stories about his farmhouse and the family who used to live
there. They tell him to watch out for “the dogs”. Later in the story, Cameron gets in a
fight with Cody. When he comes home the second day, his neighbour, Mr. Sinclair, is
clearing the basement. Cameron thinks the man is a little weird and he got scared
that he came in the house without asking anyone. After a few days, Cameron starts
to hear a voice from the kid who used to live in the house. He wonders if it is all in his
head or that it is real and that he does really see ghosts. In the wind he hears the
dogs howling. Jacky says him they won’t get him, because Jacky won’t let them. With
a lie that Cameron needs to write an essay about his farmhouse, he tries to find out
more about Jacky and the history of his family. Step-by-step Cameron finds out more
about the Mc Travisch family. He finds out that Cody’s granny claims that Mr. Mc

I'm sorry to hear this. When describing the report, a warning was clearly given that my English was not up to standard at the time, but I did get a good grade for it. Hopefully you still got something out of it. Send me a message and I can see what I can do for you!
