application. It consists of the tasks of two bank personnel, namely a home
loan consultant and a credit clerk. The home loan consultant: • Receives the

conducting method study is to ensure that the current methods of working
are investigated with the aim of developing and implementing new and
improved methods of working. Method study consists of process charting to
chart the present methods of working. There are selected charts which are
used during method study investigations. Summarise the knowledge which
you have gained from studying the technique method study. Then provide
your own explanation of the four of the six symbols used in process charting.
Substantiate your answer by illustrating and explaining each symbol. NOTE:
You are required to tabulate your answer and explain in your own words. Any
