Drag-and-drop files, a script editor, or the ANS-Through Data Catalog are all methods of data
addition. ANS-Add data (wheather data catalog or files and other sources): add the date from
the Asset Panel field section. Pick from data uploads, in-app data entry, data connectors, or
manual data entry. Adding Data from the Data Manager - ANS- To add data, click the Plus
symbol (you can choose between the Data Catalog and Files and Other Sources). Then, go to
Manual entry and either drop a file here or connect to a new data source. selecting "drop" to
open a file. Select a file, and a menu with a preview of the table (file format, field names,
delimiters, and Quoting, among other things) appears. Adding data from files and other sources
- ANS-opens the list of connectors, gives the possibility to drop or select a file or to entry manual
data. Large or small tiles and a search function can be chosen for the connectors.
The load script does not have a preview available. The fields Table, Field, Condition, and Value
can be used to restrict the data that is loaded using this option as well. Data profiling can be
turned off or on by clicking the three dots next to the NEXT button. A locked auto-generated
section in the script editor will be created and is indicated by the alert Massage: This script
section is auto generated by Data Manager and locked with a padlock symbol. And the load
data actions was automatic generated.
Aggregation - ANS-If a dimension groups multiple values, they must be aggregated. Common
aggregation methods include:
Sum
AVG (average)
Count (could necessitate the use of a DISTINCT qualifier) Alternate States, or ANS, refers to
the possibility of displaying two identical visualizations simultaneously with distinct filtering. The
choice of the other charts is unaffected by alternate states. Alternate States are created under
Master Items in the Asset Panel or under Sheet Properties and "alternate states" section
