Extremity range of motion - ANS-Hip flexion to 125°
Hip add duction to 45°
Knee flexion to 130°
Any extension two 120°
Ankle plantarflexion to 50°
Ankle dorsiflexion to 20°
Shoulder flexion to 90°
Shoulder extension to 50°
Elbow flexion to 160°
Elbow extension two 145°
Wrist flexion to 90°
Wrist extension to 70°
Fixed Deficit of an Extremity - ANS-With the loss of a fixed impairment hand, leg, foot, arm
Examiner must determine if driver is otherwise medically fit to drive and then the driver must
have a skill performance evaluation which only applies to fix deficits, not those guys by
progressive disease
Lumbar spine range of motion - ANS-Flexion 80 to 90°
Extension 30°
Lateral flexion 20°
Rotation 45°
Must discuss w driver - ANS-Any MSK hx: onset, dx and meds, limitations
Potential neg effects of all meds
Any abnormal findings
Recommended not to certify - ANS-Impairment affects torso
