D1. Health Promotion Justification
Incorporate physical activity to your daily life to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease
before the need to incorporate medicarions to fix damage that can happen to your heart. Increase
in physical activity can improve mental health (Kebaili et al.). Increase sleep can reduce stress
and boost metabolism and improve overall health (Rosenbaum et al.).
D2. SMART Goals
Incorporaate exercise in daily life by walking 30 minutes per day 5 days a week to
reduce the risk of developing heart disease, an improve mental health
Goal 1.
S: Monday through Friday I will take a 30 minute walk
M: I will exercise by walking 30 minutes 5 days a weeek
