located in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
A2. Personal significance of chosen hospital
Milton S Hershey Medical Center is significant to me for several reasons. First, it is the hospital
that is the partner of my current place of work, Penn State Hershey Rehabilitation Hospital. As a
partner, the facilities work together closely to ensure that patients transition to the next needed
level of care. Patients will participate in a brief stay at the inpatient rehabilitation hospital for
, intensive therapy. Additionally, 2 of my siblings have been treated as patients in the children's
hospital wing. My previous experience led me to have increased knowledge and relationships
with the staff in the pediatric unit.
