Atlanta and Pheonix

In December of 2023, my fiancé and I went on a month-long vacation. It was not planned, we
just packed our bags, loaded the car, got on the road, and headed to our first destination Atlanta. It was
an 8-hour drive in which he took the first shift to drive but he ended up driving the entire way. We did
not arrive until after 6 a.m. and check-in was not until 4 p.m. So luckily for us they had an available
room at that time, so we were able to check-in because we were extremely tired. We took a shower,
got breakfast, and took a nap and did not get up until around 7 p.m. By this time, we were hungry again,
so we went out to a restaurant and had dinner and a couple of drinks. We went back to the hotel to
watch
a movie and eventually we went to sleep. The next morning, we got up and got breakfast and then
explored the city a little bit. We checked out the aquarium and the museum. I can say it was highly
informative and remarkably interesting, I had never been to a museum. But the aquarium was my
favorite place to see all the exotic sea creatures. So, the Atlanta trip lasted two weeks and we spent
most of week exploring and the remainder at the hotel just relaxing in the hotel we had a magnificent
view and besides the weather was bad it was cold and raining so we ordered in room service. I did not
realize how expensive it was in Atlanta parking alone was thirty-two dollars a day and if you left you
had to pay hourly. And that was for parking anywhere in the downtown area. But overall, it was a great
trip.
, This was our first trip for this long of a period. The night before our departure we packed our bags and
left out the clothing we were going to put on because we were heading out before the sun came up.
Well, the sun came up and we were still in bed sleeping we ended up leaving at 8 a.m. we arrived home
around 5p.m. we unpacked and washed clothes and from there my fiancé was on the computer booking
flights to Arizona he got a very good deal so we thought the flight tickets was cheap, but the baggage is
what costed. So, in the end we only saved a few dollars which he was fine with it, and I oversaw booking
the room. I found a four-star resort for a reasonable price, so I booked it. So, we proceeded to return
the rental car he got prior to the trip. Once we dropped the car off that night, we realized that we had
forgotten something in the car that we could not leave so we waited for 5 and a half hours for someone
to arrive that morning because our flight left at 7 a.m. the next morning but by the grace of God
someone arrived at 5 a.m. two hours before the opening time. We retrieved our items and were on our
way because we had a flight to catch. Once we got home, we gathered our things and headed to the
airport we used airport parking, so we had to wait for transport to drop us off at the departure station
we proceeded to the check-in our luggage and from there we were on our way to check ourselves in.
Our flight was 6 hours we got there around 5 p.m. because we had a layover in Cincinnati. Now that we
are in Pheonix we are going to check-in and my fiancé is upset with the room, so he does not want to
stay at the resort so now we are trying to find another room which does not happen until the next day.
Now that we are settled, we can plan out our two-week adventure. The first day we just rode around
and got a feel for the city, and we ate breakfast at a nice restaurant. We visited the museum there went
to basketball game we also did the hot air ballon ride. But the best part of the trip to phenix was going
to the Grand Canyon, which was a four-hour drive. We saw all the various parts of the Grand Canyon it
was so beautiful and breath taking. I really did not get to take a lot of photos on the drive up of call the
mountains because I was the driver there and back. But the mountains were iced over because it
snowed, and it was gorgeous. the two weeks was the best time I've had in a long time although there
