Abstract
Psychiatric nursing is a field of study that you could potentially run into a lot of
diagnoses. Of those diagnoses, many of them could potentially join together in their signs and
symptoms. Today, being discussed will be Bipolar Disorder, and the breakdown of the disease in
itself. Patient also presented with a specific type which was hypermania in her thinking and even
current actions. In this case study the disease will be broken down, the clients stay on the psych
unit will be discussed and plans for discharge home.
