Task 1:

AC1.1:

There are many crimes evidence in the brief, one of which is white-collar crime.
This crime is defined as a criminal offence committed by a business. The typical
type of victim of this crime is someone who is well trusted in the community.
For example, the typical type of offender of this crime is elderly people,
someone who relies on the business. This particular time of crime is low level of
public awareness because of the level of authority you have in your job.
Someone with a higher status is less likely to be suspected within their business
community. A real-world example of this crime is Michael Milken, a
philanthropist who served nearly two years in prison as a result of securities
fraud and fraudulent transactions. However, Milken was granted full pardon by
President Trump in 2020. As a whole, Michael Milken is banned from working in
the security industry.

Another example of crimes evidence in the brief, one of which is moral crime.
This crime is defined as acts that go against society norms or moral code. The
typical type of victim of this crime is victimless or often the same person, e.g.,
prostitutes. For example, the typical type of offender of this crime is behaviour
between two consenting adults with no immediate victims to bring charges.
This particular type of crime has a low level of public awareness because no
victim is hurt in the process, only the person who is committing the crime is. A
real-world example of this crime would be the Hundreds of Afghan women
jailed for running away from domestic violence and forced marriages. It is said
that sex outside marriage – even if the woman is forces is considered as
adultery a form of ‘moral crime’.
