Light is composed of photons which are composed of 2 wavelengths called electromagnetic radiation. Both wavelength are on a 90 degree angle from each other. We can only see a small portion of the electromagnetic wavelength (visible light) 2. describe how light interacts with matter and with biological molecules. Photons of light have 3 possible outcomes when interacting with other matter. A photon of light can, be absorbed by matter, it can be reflected by matter of it can travel through matter in some cases. In biology and especially when it involves photosynthesis, light is absorbed and used to create energy to sustain life 3. explain how light can serve as a source of energy and a source of information.
