tell them name and shift length

3. 3. On 7am-11 or 7pm-11 shifts restock gloves, alcohol and bleach wipes, and isolation
carts then blanket warmer and linen cart
4. 4. Then check-in with staff
5. Can new interns take a leave of absence? - ANS-No
6. Cardiac Monitoring Equipment - ANS-Cardiac monitor or telemetry box
7. Electrodes/ECG Tabs
8. Lead wires
9. Cardiac Monitoring Procedure - ANS-1. Explain that the electrodes monitor heart rate
10. 2. Attach wires to electrodes
11. 3. Place electrodes on the patient
12. 4. Avoid bones, hair, or movement
13. 5. Connect lead wires to ECG
14. • RA white

25. Medication stations - ANS-Do not disturb nurse or RT preparing medication at the PYXIS
medication stations
26. Nerve block - ANS-DO NOT ambulate
