Dear Students,
I hope you are doing well. Below is your portfolio examination.
1. This is an open book examination. You may consult:
• Your main source of information is the Only study guide for APY3705
• You can only use your own readings if these are in addition to information given in the study
guide, and only if they are scholarly publications (not Wikipedia or non-academic sources from the
internet)
• Do not copy answers from any webpage or the study guide (plagiarism). Remember it is also
plagiarism if you copy only one or a few sentences without acknowledgement and without rewriting
them in your own words.
2. Illustrate each answer with appropriate examples from the case studies included in the
APY3705 study guide.
3. In order to pass this examination you must fulfil the following requirements:
• Sufficiently answer all short questions and essay type questions
• Part 2 essay should approximately be 1500 words in length. While part 3 is unlimited.
• A table of contents that includes both appropriate headings and appropriate subheadings.
• The essays should include a full and complete answer including a discussion of the case studies
in your own voice/wording/writing style (plagiarism is not allowed – NO MARKS can be awarded for
plagiarized work). Students that commit plagiarism may be called to the Student Disciplinary
