Question 1
1.1Define communication. (2)
Communication is the process of sharing information, ideas, thoughts, and
feelings between individuals or groups. It involves exchanging messages, both
verbal and nonverbal, to convey meaning and understanding.
In simple terms, communication is how we connect with others, express
ourselves, and understand each other. It's a two-way process that involves:
- Sender: shares the message
- Receiver: interprets the message
- Message: the information being shared
- Channel: the medium used to convey the message (e.g., speech, text, email)
Effective communication happens when the receiver understands the message as
intended by the sender.
