Assessment Task: Catchment and River Management
1. Task Description:
Learners will be provided with a case study of a river catchment area experiencing various
environmental challenges. They will be required to:
Analyze the case study to identify and describe the main environmental and socio-
economic issues affecting the catchment area.
Evaluate the effectiveness of current management practices in addressing these issues.
Create a comprehensive and innovative management plan to mitigate the identified issues
and promote sustainable management of the catchment area.
