When the Treaty of Versailles was signed on 28 th June 1919, I think that of the
Big Three, Clemenceau, Prime Minister of France was not the least satisfied, but
Woodrow Wilson, President of America, was, and so I disagree with the
statement. This is because Clemenceau and Lloyd-George achieved quite a bit
of their main goals and got mostly what they wanted from the treaty (to get
revenge on Germany), while almost none of Wilson’s 14 points, were accepted.
