Subject: A new EMR implementation in the organization
Hi Everyone, I hope you are all Doing Well!
As you all understand, the hospital is planning to roll out a new EMR plan in the firm to promote
service delivery and patient service. Since the passage of the HITECH Act, the hospital has been
in the process of identifying the best electronic medical record system for implementation. Thus,
for the purposes of transitioning to this new program, adequate time is required to have everyone
on board. However, the time required to adopt this system is an essential factor to consider when
planning for this project. How long it might take will depend on several elements. In this regard,
arriving at a specific or rough time estimate for the length of this project is hard. Given the level
of variables, the implementation period might either increase or decrease the time required to
complete it. For instance, an efficient supplying of implementation resources and materials to
planners and teams will enable them the ability to facilitate the completion of this program. In
particular, such ability will allow the teams the required process in completing vital milestones in
time. As such, it is not possible to find a standard timeframe for the EMR implementation.
Today, most patients want to see their doctors put notes into computers or electronic systems
every time they visit a hospital. In this regard, this hospital is no different. Even though the
change from paper-work to digital or electronic system has taken much longer for this firm to
implement, the decision to do so will boost patient satisfaction and increase care delivery. The
HITECH Act has already set a goal of enhancing the overall patient outcomes by ensuring that
