P3: describe the stages

Employer
 Identify company needs- they will need to check what was the issue for the previous person to leave the job or even being fired from it.
They will have to try and resolve it before recruiting new people in their company. They will also need to make sure for how long they
will need someone to work for their company and put it in the job description.

 Job description-the company needs to write a job description for the upcoming applicants to read what job they are offering and to know
what they will be doing in their job. This has things like the roles of their job, position details, pay, hours that they will work for, roles
and responsibilities, company details, training, and also aims and objectives.

 Persona specification- the company will need to specify what kind of a person they are looking for who would be suitable for this job role
that they are offering. This can include previous wok experiences, characteristic, qualifications, skills and quality that will be needed to
do this job. Sometimes all requirements are not needed since company might need new staff t work with them urgently.

 Advertising-after all the above things are done the company now needs to publish their job advertisements for people to see and apply for
their new job within that company. They will advertise on various levels such as their own website, newspapers, online or in job centres
so that plenty people can see and apply for it.

 Road shows- there are plenty road show that take place all year round which are held by different companies. Where they tell others
about what job role is available within the company and how will they allowed to be access it and how they can register for it. For
example they can make an account eth the company and get regular alerts from them when they have a new job or other things which are
going on within the company.

 Recruitments agencies- recruitment agencies help people find new job and also sometime help them improve the CV. When they get their
CV they will look for job that they ant and also book them an interview with the company that they found a job with.

 Short listing applicants – at times huge companies like British Airways get 1000s application on daily basis. They then shortlist the CV
by reading it and who actually has the proper qualification go them the job and who is also worthy for it. Sometimes companies refer the
CV to the company’s person specification in order to make sure that they recruit the right person in their company.

 Interviews (telephone, group, individual)-after seeing the applicants CV the will call the best on for interview since they would have to
see how the applicant is like in person. The reason they do this is because they can see how they react and how their personality is like in
person. Some companies have group interviews because of their hectic schedules and they will get the views from every persons who is
interviewing them which will be a better choice for selecting the right person for the job.
