Lecrae-Heroes and Villains: Is Hip-Hop a Cancer or a Cure
In his speech, Lecrae talks about how the Hip-Hop culture is founded on the glorification of drugs and violence, yet praised because some of the greatest Hip-Hop artists have managed to break the racial barrier to become one of the most successful Blacks in the history. Lecrae also makes it clear that the Hip-Hop heroes we praise today founded their success on the glorification of drugs and violence—which has certainly put many blacks in prison—which makes them villains in reality.
