structural boundaries.
Capabilities seen from a customer viewpoint. The extent to which competencies,

expectations.
Engagement consists of three factors: satisfaction, commitment, and advocacy
(motivation).
2b) Describe the ProMES concept. What are the main concepts and how does it tend to
improve performance?
i.e. ProMES an intervention aimed at enhancing the productivity of work units
within organization through performance measurements and feedback. Productivity
(Pritchard, 1992) how effectively an organization uses its resources to achieve its
goals.
ProMES implementation:
1. Form a design team from people from the target unit (5-8 people)
2. Development of objectives of the department(s), contributing to broader organization
(i.e. maximize revenues, meet training needs)
3. Quantifiable measures (KPIs) developed assessing how well objectives are met.
4. Develop contingencies (range of effectiveness of KPI, max. and min. realistic levels).
5. Approval feedback system implemented
