Plaktest verteld niet alles maar komen wel reactes oo beoaalde materialen:

Oo bovenstaande was allemaal een oositeve reacte
Casus vervolg
Zij heef een contactallergie ontwikkeld door het vaak aanraken van de stofen.
Type IV (volgens coombs en gell) ontwikkeld reacte in de vorm van een allergische
contactdermatts
o Dit gaat niet voorbij eenmaal allergisch, altjd allergisch
Materialen kunnen toxisch, allergisch of carcinogeen (kankerverwekkend) zijn
Behandelaar
Contact met materiaal contactallergie tyoe IV (vertraagde vorm)
Ben je eenmaal allergisch, dan blijf je dat ook. Als je jong bent (tot 13 jaar) dan kan de allergie nog
verdwijnen.
Grootste probleem: de handen deze raken aan:
o Kunstharsen
o Latex (Stofen in de handschoenen, additeven oo handschoenen elastsch te maken of jouw
allergisch te maken. Daarom regelmatg wisselen van handschoenen)
o Zeeo, desinfectanta kan door oarfum allergisch worden
o Prothesekunststofen (Bij maken en reoarate orothese MMA allergie
o Rubberdam, handschoenen (Beste latex vrij!)
o Restauratematerialen en adhesieven (orimer en bonding), ongeoolymeriseerd (bonding niet
uitgeoolymeriseerd, dan een hoger risico net zoals bij comoosiet oo doordringing van
handschoen en daardoor in huid)
Prevente maatregelen
- No-touch technieken
- Disoosable disoensers
- Tuitjes van fesjes schoon houden
- Handschoenen heloen niet afdoende!
- Voorkom irritates aan huid, ook thuis en bescherm deze met oleisters anders
- Goede handhygiëne, disoosable handdoeken
- Handschoenen regelmatg wisselen
De patënt
- Metalen/legeringen – nikkel (nikkelvrij = roestvrij staal, maar is ook niet helemaal nikkelvrij), chroom,
kobalt, oalladium
o Nikkel, chroom en kobalt in orthodontsche aooaratuur (retentesoalk)
Nikkel veel allergie voor
o Metaalionen kunnen vrijkomen uit retentesoalkje en dat kan oroblemen ooleveren
