3.1.1 Types of network
A network is a group of computer systems linked together in order to communicate and
share resources
Hub - Connection point for devices on a network. Devices connect to hub with ethernet
cables
Switch - Like a hub but it can identify the devices connected to the ports, so specific
datas can be sent to only one, also making it faster
Router - Connect multiple networks together
