Qualifications and experience of witness:

A PhD in forensic science from the Oxford Brookes University.
I am currently a forensic scientist working with the Hertfordshire police. I have worked in this
field for 8 years now and have been successful in helping solve and support sufficient
evidence for crimes. Spanning from small thefts to homicides and mass murders. I did a
week of work experience with my local small police station helping accompany police
officers to small crimes in my area as well as helping with documenting and paperwork. This
helped me boost my love for solving crime and made me want to go into this profession
further.

whether the white powder
found is a drug and if so, what
drug it is. This can help
investigators figure out if drugs
were involved and if people
were intoxicated during the
crime and potentially if the
drugs had any influence on
what happened.
4 3422 – gunshot residue - Sodium The purpose of this test is to
rhodizonate determine if the suspects
hands had any gunshot residue
on them telling investigators
