Hoofdstuk 1: Motor control: Issues and Theories

Motor control: Motorische controle is de mogelijkheid om mechanismen die bewegen
mogelijk maken te sturen, te remmen of te activeren. Het kunnen bewegen, reguleren van
bewegen.

Definitie: Mogelijkheid om de mechanismen, welke essentieel zijn voor bewegen, te
reguleren en/of aan te sturen. Of: Een manier om de neurale, fysieke en gedragsaspecten
van een beweging te begrijpen.

Dynamische systeemtheorie: kind, taak, omgeving.
Door welke factoren wordt de motorische uitvoering bepaald? Het individu, de taak en de
omgeving.

Individu: Cognitie, motor/action en sensory/perceptie
Taak: Mobiliteit, posturale controle en functie BE.
Omgeving: regulatory en nonregulatory

Individuele systemen onderliggend aan motor control:
- motor/action systems
- sensory/perceptual systems
- cognitive systems

Schema voor verschillende typen bewegingstaken:
Discreet vs continu: discrete zijn taken met een duidelijk begin en eind.
Gesloten vs Open: open bijv. voetbal (mogelijkheid tot aanpassen en veranderen van taak)
en gesloten is een taak die bepaald is hoe die moet etc
Stabiliteit vs Mobiliteit: stabiliteit: zitten/staan  BOS verplaatst niet, mobiliteit: BOS
verplaatst  lopen.
Manipulatie vs Nonmanipulation taken: manipulatie van bijv bovenste extremiteit.

Omgeving:
Regulatory: shapes de movement itself
Nonregulatory: may affect performance, but movements does not have to conform these
features. (achtergrondgeluid etc.)

Control of movement: theories of motor control

 Raamwerk om gedrag te interpreteren
 Gids voor klinische actie
 Nieuwe ideeën: dynamic and evolving
 Working hypotheses for examination and intervention
